I have a 1080p HDTV that is a 64 inch widescreen. It makes for awesome movie watching experiences. I have it hooked into a surround sound system and an HD DVD player so the picture and sound are totally awesome. I've been collecting movies for years and years, and have over 300 movies now, so I always have something to watch. I add to my collection when a new film comes out that I want to own and watch on my 1080p HDTV. My 1080p HDTV is a better picture than a movie theater, and I don't have to pay for admission. My entire family can watch our 1080p HDTV and a new movie for under twenty bucks. Ya can't get that kind of deal at a theater! A 1080p HDTV has such a great picture, I never want to go to the movies anymore. The picture at the movie theater is horrible, with lines through it and is sort of fuzzy. Not so with my 1080p HDTV widescreen and home theater system. I love having a 1080p HDTV at home.
