An LCD HDTV Makes a Great Camping Companion |

Our family just loves to go camping, and fortunately for us, we can do it all year long. After investing in a nice tent that has two rooms, we decided we would buy an LCD HDTV that runs both on house power and battery power. The TV came with a 12V cable and we bought a regulator so we can hook up the LCD HDTV to a separate battery we use for camping and watch TV when we are out enjoying Mother Earth. Sometimes we like to watch a little TV when we are under the star at night, especially if it's raining outside. It gives us a connection to civilization. Fortunately, there are many tv stations in our state and our LCD HDTV's tuner picks up a surprising number of different stations.
The great thing about LCD HDTVs is that they are so light and take up very little room in the tent. We can move it from corner to corner to get the best signal. We bring along an antenna just in case the signal isn't strong enough for the LCD HDTV to pick up. That, too, doesn't take up much space at all in all our camping gear. |
