Garmin GPS
My sister gave her husband a Garmin Nuvi 775T GPS for an anniversary gift. She put a card in it saying it was so he would always find his way back to her to make it seem romantic. The truth is that he needed it. He gets lost a lot, does not follow instructions or directions very well and will not ask for help. On the other hand he loves cool electronic gadgets.
This Garmin GPS is an electronic gadget that has a sleek, slim design and fits comfortably in your pocket or purse. The fact that it is also a useful tool is beside the point. He used it simply because it was a new toy for him to play with. Suddenly it is fun to be in the car with him. He is much more relaxed when driving now. He uses his Garmin GPS to get out of heavy traffic and to find short cuts that actually get you to where you are going. He even uses it when driving to an unknown area. We wanted to go to a new restaurant that opened last week. It took us no time to get there because my brother in law put the address into the Garmin GPS and followed the instructions. It is a nice change. We got to enjoy being at the restaurant, before we would have spent the evening looking for the restaurant instead.
