1080p hdtv, lcd hdtv In the video attached below, you will see just how real a 1080p HDTV screen can be in a funny UK LCD HDTV commercial. The video might be a joke but I have had to pinch myself a couple times when watching a nature show or sports game on a 1080p HDTV. One of my college friends, a couple years back bought an enormous 62” 1080p HDTV for his house. When there was nothing to do we would kick back on the couch and get blown away by how clear a leaping frog looked on the Discovery Channel or point out how much sweat was beading off Shaq’s huge face while trying to adapt to the Sun’s Run and Gun offense.

 

You got to love the UK humor. The elephant scene would have never passed in the American media especially from a big name like Panasonic. It almost envious how much farther UK media is allowed to take jokes and advertisements. I would love to see those guys switch to an old Sun’s game when Shaq was sliding across the hardwood right into the living room. Talk about a quick way to clear out a room. 1080p HDTV borders on seeing something face to face.
