home theater components, lcd hdtv I have some of the most festive roommates on the planet. We had our place decked out for Christmas before it was even Thanksgiving. Since we have added a few more knick knacks but for the most part just been enjoying the winter-tastic surroundings. That is why I could not believe one of those roommates had never seen A Christmas Story. I found this out when we got into a conversation about our favorite holiday flicks. Of course A Christmas Story came up and this was when we found out she knew nothing about it. How could you not see it with classic clips like the one attached below.

So we found it online and it is now sitting on the coffee table. Tonight or someday this week we are going to enjoy it over the LCD HDTV. It is almost a slap in the face to Christmas not to watch this movie. I have seen it at least 25 times and it never gets old. The narration is perfect over home theater components. This film has been around for longer then I have been alive but it is just as funny as way back in the day. Our LCD HDTV has transformed into a screen for holiday cheer. There are too many great winter movies to pass up.
