I'm like most Americans in that I like to watch movies on TV at home. Now I may not have the best home theater components available or the biggest 1080p HDTV hanging from my living room's TV wall mount, but I do know the secret of having a really superior home theater. Do you want to know what my secret is? Simple, I keep my DVD library stocked with a wide selection of my favorite DVDs, including a big selection of classics from the black and white era, as many comedies as I can afford, plus westerns, action pictures, adult dramas, horror movies, science fiction pictures, gangster movies, foreign films, animated classics, cult movies, and anything else I ever get a fancy to watch. I like to keep my home theater components well-stocked with my favorite films because I think that most of what is broadcast on cable TV is boring, worthless junk. I'll sit through hours of good documentaries or nature films displayed in all their glory on my home's 1080p HDTV, but I won't waste a second watching so-called "reality" TV or infomercials trying to sell me some product I don't need. That's why I think a good film library is one of the best home theater components that you can add to your 1080p HDTV bolted to your TV wall mount. Personally, I just love the classic movies. They just don't make 'em like that any more!
