Loaning out Garmin GPS to the Navigationally Challenged |

A buddy asked me to go fishing with him this weekend up in the mountains and unfortunately, I couldn't go, but I did him a favor by loaning him my Garmin GPS for the trip. He gets notoriously lost, so I figured that even if he goes alone, he'll be OK with the Garmin GPS system leading him where he needs to go. I put his hotel destination in it, along with the lake where he wants to fish, showed him how to use the Garmin GPS unit I have and wished him good luck fishing.
Fishing is fun. Garmin even makes some really terrific GPS units that find fish. I used to enjoy fishing more, but have found now that what I like to do is read instead. I eat the fish that my friend catches. Nothing tastes better than freshly caught fish on the grill. I told him that I will gladly cook the fish that he catches, but that I don't want to put a line in the water anymore. I'm happy, however, cooking it all day long and into the night, however, so I think I'm holding up my end quite nicely. |
