garmin gpsHaving just come back from a weekend of deep sea fishing, I have to say that this Garmin GPS is a splendid addition to anyone who takes fishing seriously. I visited my friends who live on the beach in California and they have a fishing boat. For Father's Day, their kids all chipped together to give him this unit for his fishing. They love to fish, and with this Garmin GPS, they have all sorts of advantages at their fingertips, like alarms for the presence of fish, their size, the water temperature, the depth of the water, and a host of other features that boggle the mind. It's a marine GPS receiver, and I didn't even know this existed until we were out on the water. The only thing this Garmin GPS unit doesn't do is get the fish to bite the hook. We just caught one fish, but it was a big one, so it was enough for a delicious meal. Anyone who has eaten fresh fish just caught out of the ocean knows how delicious they are, and this one was awesome. It's no wonder the kids chipped together to get this Garmin GPS unit for fishing.
