I like using a TV wall mount in my kids' rooms to get the television up off the furniture and out of their reach. That way I never have to worry about them pulling the television off the furniture and hurting themselves. I've seen several news stories where children pulled TVs on top of themselves and got hurt badly. I want to avoid that sort of thing, so I use a TV wall mount in each of my kids' rooms. The fact that they can't reach the television give me peace of mind. It's also nice for keeping their fingerprints off the television screen. I only have to dust them once in awhile now, instead of once a week or more. My daughters have bunk beds in their room and having the television up on a TV wall mount allows my oldest, who is on the top bunk, to be able to see the TV well. My younger daughter in the bottom bunk also sees it perfectly laying on her bed. They love having the TV up on a TV wall mount.
