lcd hdtvI just reserved a cabin in the woods for a week this summer. I love to get away from the summer heat and staying in a mountain cabin for a week is enough to break the monotony and discomfort of hot, humid weather. When I made my reservation, I asked if they had cable or satellite because TV reception in the mountains is poor, at best. They said they did, and that they had just replaced all their old TVs with LCD HDTVs. That made me happy because there is nothing I enjoy more than being in a mountain cabin and watching my favorite TV shows.

Since we got our LCD HDTV, we have gotten used to the fine, clear, crisp picture that it has and if there weren't a modern TV in the cabin, we were tempted to bring our own LCD HDTV. Our smallest is 19" and it's so lightweight that it would be nothing to pack. We kept the box and the packing materials so it would make the trip easily. But since we don't need to bring our own, we can just pack more things we will need from home.
