lcd hdtvThe switch from analog television to HD television is nearly complete and people who have analog televisions and no cable or satellite service need to either get converter boxes or lie a new LCD HDTV. I am in the latter category with no cable or satellite so I have been looking at an LCD HDTV that I think I may go out and buy today. It's a pretty nice television set and it's so light way that I can move it from room to room quite easily. Since I'm the only one here who watches much television, we don't need a big home theater or a television in each room. Occasionally the family sits down and watches the show together but it's rare. That's why I think buying a portable LCD HDTV makes a lot of sense. That means we won't need to get the converter boxes which saves a little bit of money too. It would be really nice to get rid of all the big analog television sets in the house and just take our 10 pound LCD HDTV and move it around wherever we want. We have a small, and I mean small, portable television with an HD tuner in it that also plays DVDs, so in the rare occasion when two people here want to watch different programs at the same time, we'll have a backup system.
