lcd hdtv


This past weekend, dad called me to ask if he could come over and watch the Ole Miss -vs- Alabama football game on our new LCD HDTV. While I am personally not a huge fan of football, I knew that more than likely my husband would be watching it too, so I told dad to come on over. I also asked him to bring mom along as well, so I'd have someone to talk to while they were having fun watching the game on the LCD HDTV.

Mom and dad have been thinking about getting an LCD HDTV ever since we received the Samsung T240HD 24" LCD TV we ordered from Shopp Rite Mall, which has a great online store located at http://www.shoppritemall.com/. We talked about buying an LCD HDTV for ages before we came across the great deal at Shopp Rite Mall and decided we couldn't pass it up, so we made the purchase. Most of our friends already have a least one LCD HDTV, with most of them having two or even three. My husband and I decided, we'd start with this LCD HDTV and if we loved it as much as we thought we would, then later in the year we'd order a larger screened LCD HDTV and put this one in the bedroom.

You know, they say hindsight is 20/20 and after seeing how much we love this LCD HDTV, we definitely should have ordered at least one more, and possibly even two, so we would also have one for the guest room. Even though, Ole Miss did not fare well in the game against Alabama, and dad wasn't thrilled about the outcome, he did say that he really loved the quality of the picture with the LCD HDTV and he thought they would be ordering one soon themselves. I asked him to let me know when he did, because we would probably want to order another one ourselves and it would save on shipping to order them together. He agreed and promised to let me know when it was time to make the purchase. Since, I'm usually the one who does all their online ordering for them anyway, I know they will call me to make the purchase for them. And then, once the LCD HDTV arrives, my husband and I will go over and help them set everything up. That's the least we can do, after all they've done for us.
